Namunyak Conservancy on foot, horseback, or by singing well

Shared across Sarara Camp, Sarara Treehouses and Reteti House, the activity roster draws on Namunyak Community Conservancy's 850,000 acres. Days can include day and night game drives, horseback safaris, walks, fly camping in a dry riverbed, village visits to Samburu manyattas, and a giraffe viewing platform. Reteti Elephant Sanctuary, a community-run orphanage, sits minutes from Reteti House or forty-five minutes from Sarara or Sarara Treehouses. The Sarara singing wells are a dry-season highlight: Samburu herders dig wells up to five men deep and sing to call their livestock to drink, the same wells later visited at night by elephants and leopards.
