SeaSpray Resort & Marina
White Sound, Elbow Cay: a marina base for boats and villas alike
Skip to product information
White Sound cuts into Elbow Cay as one of the more sheltered anchorages in the Abacos, and Sea Spray sits at its head, where the water calms and the wind drops as boats round the point. The marina holds 62 slips, taking vessels from 20 to 130 feet with drafts to 7 feet, and offers gas, diesel, ice, bait, and both fuel service by dock or road. From here the Sea of Abaco opens out. Marsh Harbour is 20 minutes away by boat, Tahiti Beach closer still, and the offshore banks within reach for a day's fishing. On land, accommodation runs to one-, two- and three-bedroom self-catering villas, each with a kitchen and a private patio facing the ocean or the marina. A dockside pool sits between the two, open to guests off the water. Two restaurants cover breakfast through dinner, and the bar just up from the docks fills most afternoons once boats are tied up. It is a working marina as much as a place to stay. Showers and restrooms serve arriving crews, and a VHF channel 16 line keeps the office in contact with the water. Karaoke runs Monday nights, live music or Junkanoo on Thursdays, and fishing tournaments punctuate the calendar through the year.
