Serengeti Sound of Nature Luxury Tented Camp
Robanda gives its name to the ground this camp occupies, on the Lower Orangi River inside Seronera, at the heart of Serengeti National Park. The property is run by a family that also operates other camps and lodges across the region, and it keeps its footprint small: eight tented houses, each with its own entrance, bathroom and toilet. Room types vary by group size. A family tent links several rooms so parents and children can stay close but separate. Double, triple and single rooms follow simpler layouts, the double fitted with a king-size bed measuring 220 by 200cm.

Meals run on a set menu, served under canvas shading decorated for dinner, and drinks include a small wine list. Solar heating supplies hot water and Wi-Fi covers the camp, a rare pairing this deep into the park. Lions, elephants and the migratory herds that pass through the Serengeti's plains move within reach of the tents; at night you can hear the calls that carry across the bush. Seronera airstrip lies around 27km away, the usual point of arrival for guests flying in, followed by a short transfer. It is a small, family-run base, not a resort, and its size is the point: eight tents, one river, one stretch of park.
