The town of Tralee lies a few kilometres off; the harbour village of Fenit, with its marina and Blue Flag beach, sits close by too.
The house holds five rooms, each ensuite: two twins, two doubles, and one flexible double or single. Breakfast is Irish or continental, taken in a dining room on site. Gardens surround the building, and parking is private and free. Wifi runs throughout, and a cot and babysitting service are available on request.
The setting favours quiet over convenience, though neither is far off. Tralee Golf Club, the Arnold Palmer course by the Atlantic, sits within ten minutes' drive, as do horse riding, sailing, and kayaking. Restaurants and a pub are close at hand too.
