Shangri-La Boracay is a 219-room resort set into a sheltered bay on Boracay's northern coastline, fronting two beaches rather than one. Punta Bunga curves along the main building, while Banyugan, smaller and more private, is reached only through the resort's beachfront villas. Rooms in the main block climb the upper floors, giving Deluxe Seaview rooms a line over garden and water alike; interiors mix abaca weave rugs with capiz-shell light fittings, a Filipino accent on otherwise modern furnishings. Villas step down the hillside in tiers. Tree House Villas stand on stilts above the slope with floor-to-ceiling glass and a jacuzzi on the upper deck. Two-Bedroom Ocean Villas sit on a bluff over Banyugan beach, each with its own pool and a view across the cove to the beach bar and main pool. The Two-Bedroom Beach Villa is the only accommodation built directly on Banyugan sand, with a private pool, garden, and butler service. At the top of the range, the Presidential Villa joins three separate structures into one, with a full kitchen, lap pool, and gazebos looking out to sea. Chi, The Spa occupies its own peninsula nearby, a 5,714 sqm complex built apart from the main resort. Guests arrive by speedboat from Caticlan, docking directly at the property. Check-out runs to noon.
