Shearwater Explorers Village is a ninety-six-room lodge on Adam Stander Drive in Victoria Falls, four hundred metres from the falls themselves — close enough to hear the water from the grounds. The range of accommodation runs from deluxe chalets through standard chalets to serviced dome tents and self-camping sites, which makes it workable for travellers at different budgets on the same trip.

Deluxe chalets have twin or king-size beds, air conditioning, mosquito nets, en-suite bathrooms, a private patio, a small garden, a room safe, tea and coffee facilities, and USB charging points. Standard chalets have the same room configuration without the garden. Serviced tents come with twin stretcher beds, fresh linen, daily servicing, and access to shared ablutions, showers, and a communal kitchen. Self-camping uses the same shared facilities.

The on-site restaurant seats two hundred and operates as an open-air space beside the swimming pool. The menu runs to Zimbabwean dishes — sadza, river bream, braaied impala, crocodile stir-fry — alongside international options and vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free choices. Breakfast is included for hotel guests; a supplementary charge applies for tent and camping guests. The bar serves cocktails and the grounds include a waterhole where elephant and buffalo come to drink.

The lodge is part of Shearwater Adventures, so activity bookings — white-water rafting on the Zambezi, helicopter flights over the falls, sunset river cruises, guided game drives into Zambezi National Park, bungee jumping from Victoria Falls Bridge — can be arranged at the on-site travel desk. The falls are a walkable distance from the front gate.
