Shintana Saya La Maison

Set in a quiet pocket of Siem Reap, Shintana Saya La Maison sits eight minutes from the Angkor temple complex. The hotel holds 29 rooms across seven categories, each drawing on Khmer art-deco design from the 1960s. Most rooms open onto a balcony or step straight out to the pool. A Deluxe Room runs to 45 m² and looks over the garden or the water; the Landmark Room, on the top floor, adds an outdoor bathtub and reaches by stairs alone, no lift. Ground-floor Cabana Rooms measure 59 m² and pair a private patio with a separate indoor shower and bath. Largest of all is the Two-Bedroom Family Suite, at 90 m², with two bathrooms and two balconies over the grounds and pools. Downstairs, an all-day restaurant serves Cambodian and international dishes built on seasonal, organic ingredients, and an evening lounge by the pool pours cocktails made with premium spirits. There is a swimming pool tiled in silver, plus a treatment room and a bar for evening drinks. It is a compact stay. Guests can walk or ride a tuk-tuk into town, ten minutes off, for the Old Market and Pub Street, or push further out to Angkor Wat, Ta Prohm, and the Bayon's carved faces. Check-in is mid-afternoon, check-out at noon.
