Sidai Serengeti Camp sits on a game corridor in the Ikoma area of the Serengeti, looking out over the Orangi River and the hills behind it. The river holds water into the dry season, which draws elephant, buffalo, lion, and zebra through the year — and during migration the numbers on the corridor rise considerably.

Ikoma Gate is the practical entry point; from there the Mara River is roughly an hour away by road. You stay in en-suite tented rooms, each with hot and cold showers, a flush toilet, a hand basin, and a private outdoor seating area facing the riverbank. Meals are full board, and the kitchen can set up bush breakfasts and dinners out in the landscape rather than at camp.

Communal areas include a lounge and bar, a campfire, and a barbecue setup. The campfire is where the day tends to end — guests gathered together with the sounds of the corridor coming in from the dark.

The camp is reachable by road through Ikoma Gate.
