Built along the Co Co River on the edge of Hoi An, Silk Sense set aside most of its land rather than build on it: only 30% of the site carries structure, the rest left as open green ground between the river and the sea. The resort has made a point of going without single-use plastic, replacing bottles and amenities with bamboo, wood, and biodegradable materials throughout its rooms. The beach lies 200 metres away. Room categories range from garden-view doubles to two-bedroom villas of 140 m², several with private pools and stone bathtubs set into their own gardens. The Sense Suite has a ground-floor bedroom opening onto a private pool and garden; upstairs suites look over the river instead. A 260 m² Presidential Suite adds a jacuzzi and a kitchen that opens onto its own lawn. Meals draw on organic produce grown in the resort's own Caman Garden, and the sea-salt infinity pool sits above the riverbank. Bicycles are free for guests heading into Hoi An's old town, three kilometres off, or towards Cham Island by boat. Check-in runs from 2pm. Da Nang airport is 28 km away, and four golf courses lie within 10 km, but the pull here is the water on two sides and the quiet in between.
