The Pottery Studio

Set in the calm of the Akarabo Nursery, this studio offers guests a wheel-throwing pottery experience combining craft with quiet relaxation. Two trained studio staff guide each session, so newcomers can work the wheel with support from start to finish. Guests may shape their own piece by hand or choose a bisque item made by local Rwandan potters, then personalise it with glaze and paint. The result is a sculptural or functional piece to call their own, made in a space designed for focus rather than pace.
