Wine experience

Singita has built one of Africa's most respected wine collections, and Kwitonda Lodge draws on that cellar for guided tastings held in a temperature-controlled room on site. A trained sommelier walks guests through different styles, vintages and grape varieties, tailoring the session to individual taste, whether the guest is a serious collector or simply curious. The lodge's wine programme sits under the direction of Singita's group wine specialist, whose list has picked up awards from Diners' Club and other bodies. Guests who find a favourite can arrange to have bottles packed for travel or shipped home afterwards.
