Singita Community Culinary School

Guests join a hands-on class in a purpose-built demonstration studio at Singita Lebombo Lodge, a short distance from Sweni. A trained chef guides the session, where visitors can try their hand at a classic South African dish or one of chef Liam Tomlin's tapas recipes. The studio doubles as a working school, teaching local trainees skills that lead to real jobs in South African kitchens, at Singita and beyond. Sessions run most days but need booking at least a day ahead. A per-person contribution goes directly toward running the school, so the class supports the community programme it grew from.
