Fitted with granite shower walls, heated floors, and 50-inch Samsung QLED screens, the rooms at SKKY Hotel were refreshed in November 2025 and lean toward warm earth tones rather than any cold northern palette. The hotel sits across from Whitehorse airport, five minutes from downtown, and works equally for a business stopover or a longer Yukon trip. Each room comes with a desk, an office chair, and a laptop stand, a nod to guests here for meetings as much as mountains. The Executive and Presidential Suites go further: a fireplace, a soaker tub, hardwood floors, and in the Presidential's case a separate bedroom and balcony. Wi-Fi runs free at up to 30 Mbps, with a faster tier available for a small fee. Guests get a welcome coffee or tea in the lobby, poured through a partnership with Taj Mahal Indian Cuisine, the tandoori restaurant on site. A private meeting room downstairs, with its own kitchenette and bathroom, converts to boardroom, classroom, or U-shaped layouts for groups. Guests also get access to the Better Bodies fitness centre nearby, with weights, cardio machines, and squash courts. It is a compact hotel. The front desk runs around the clock, and parking is free and secure. Outside, the Yukon River and the surrounding hills give Whitehorse its outdoor pull, from hiking trails to wildlife viewing, all reachable within a short drive of the hotel door.
