Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort
French art de vivre lands on Ras Al Khaimah's Arabian Gulf shore
Skip to product information
Arriving by the Arabian Gulf shoreline, guests find a five-star resort set beside the Al Hamra Golf Club on the Ras Al Khaimah coast. It is a large resort by design. Four pools spread across 6,000 square metres, including the Northern Emirates' longest lagoon pool, a dedicated Splash and Slide Zone for children, and adults-only stretches of water at Serenity and Lagoon. Seven restaurants and bars carry the property's French through-line into island territory: East serves European and Levantine breakfasts, Reunion leans into brasserie cooking, and beachfront Waka turns out South Pacific dishes under a thatch roof at sunset. Samphire operates as a swim-up pool bar. You can swim after dark on select nights, when the lagoon pool stays open under lights. A Kids Club takes children aged four to ten, with its own sleeping quarters and monthly themed activities, while a spa by Clarins and a 24-hour fitness centre round out the leisure offer. The private beach runs along the Gulf, with white sand underfoot and calm water suited to swimming rather than surf. Check the pool schedule before arrival, as hours vary by season.
