St. Nicolas Bay Resort Hotel & Villas

A peninsula on the road between Agios Nikolaos and Elounda holds the resort, with Mirabello Bay wrapping the shoreline on three sides. The site is quiet by geography rather than design: water on nearly every approach, olive and citrus trees inland, and a coastline that keeps the beach a short walk from most rooms. Accommodation runs from Classic doubles of 29 to 32 m² to seafront villas with private pools, some heated in spring and again in late October. The Olives & Sea villas sit slightly back from the water among olive groves, with two-storey layouts, private gardens and harbour or sea views from their upper terraces. Poseidon House, a two-storey villa near the shore, pairs a marble-bathed master bedroom on the ground floor with a second bedroom and veranda above, its own seawater pool set into an 82 m² terrace. You can watch the bay change colour from most of the seafront suites through the day. On site there are five restaurants and two bars, along with the Poseidon Spa and pools scattered through the grounds. Rooms carry marble bathrooms, Nespresso machines and down bedding as standard across both the Classic and Premium collections. It is a resort built around the water, not simply near it.
