Streaky Bay Motel and Villas sits across the road from the jetty, where the day's catch comes in and the fish-and-chip shop does steady business. Guests walk to Back Beach in minutes and drive out to Point Labatt to watch the sea lion colony haul out on the rocks below the cliffs. The property runs to two kinds of stay: deluxe motel rooms with kitchenettes and queen beds, and two-bedroom villas with their own kitchens, lounge and dining areas, and a patio for sitting out after the beach. Each room and villa carries reverse-cycle air conditioning and an en-suite bathroom. An indoor pool and spa run through the cooler months, and a barbecue area sits beside a fish-cleaning station built for the boat crowd. Parking is easy, and there is room for a trailer or a fishing boat close to the door. It is a small town, and everything sits within an easy walk. Reception runs from 8am to 8pm, and the whole property is non-smoking.
