Summerville Beach Resort
Framed by a reef wall offshore, the beach at Muro Alto forms a natural pool that gives the area its name. Summerville All Inclusive Resort sits directly on this stretch of coast, on green grounds planted with coconut palms and threaded by mangrove and native forest. The resort holds 204 rooms across apartments, suites and bungalows, including a bungalow set right at the water's edge with its own view of the sea. Rooms open onto a balcony facing either the pool or the gardens. All meals and drinks are included around the clock, served across restaurants specialising in seafood, pizza, burgers and regional dishes, alongside several bars including one built over water. A children's club runs daily activities, from a pool-based aquatic gym session to arts workshops in a climate-controlled space with its own cinema corner. There is a water slide, a tennis court, a gym open from early morning to late evening, and a beach service with loungers and umbrellas. Two children under 14 stay free per paying adult. It is a five-hour drive from Recife's international airport is not required; the resort sits about 48 km away, roughly an hour by road along the coastal route. Guests can walk from the pool terrace straight onto the sand at low tide, when the reef pools are calmest.
