Sunshine Resort Pokhara

Guests wake here to the Annapurna range framed from a private balcony. Sunshine Resort Pokhara opened in January 2019 on a plot chosen for its view rather than its address, set between the villages of Phedi Patan and Mas Patan. It is a compact stay. Rooms are air-conditioned and finished with flat-screen TVs, work desks and either a mountain, garden, river or pool outlook, and the Superior Deluxe category adds a bathtub and mini-fridge. The Loft sleeps two as a family room, while the Suite carries a larger balcony looking over the garden, pool, river and hills at once. A coffee shop on site serves fused international food from morning to evening, and the kitchen keeps an organic garden for its own vegetables and fruit. Guests can ask to step into the kitchen and cook alongside the chef, kitchen load allowing. Outside the gate, paths lead through Phedi Patan and Mas Patan for walking, and Phewa Lake, the World Peace Pagoda and Sarangkot's viewpoint sit within reach for a day out. The resort runs a shuttle to the lakeside and free transfers to and from the airport and bus park. A pool and spa treatments round out the grounds. Check-in and check-out times can be arranged flexibly on request.
