Terra Minoika Boutique Resort

Terra Minoika is a resort of five two-storey stone buildings set on a hillside above the Kato Zakros valley, on Crete's eastern coast. The site looks down over the valley toward the ruins of the Minoan Palace, one of the island's oldest excavated sites. Built entirely from local stone in a style drawn from traditional Greek architecture, the buildings sit close to the ground and low against the slope. Suites and family apartments open onto private balconies or terraces, most with sea views; gardens are planted around the complex and shape the walk between buildings. A Deluxe Suite Sea View suite runs to 40 m² with two private verandas facing sea and mountain. The Family Apartment, also 40 m², has two bedrooms, a private courtyard and its own sitting area with a sea view a short walk from the door. Breakfast is served each morning in a garden-facing area, with baked goods, local dairy, and homemade preserves sourced from the surrounding Sitia Geopark and the resort's own garden. You can watch the valley change colour through the day from a suite terrace. A fitness room and free Wi-Fi round out the amenities. The beach and local tavernas lie within walking distance of the resort.
