Terrazas de Golf

Set inside a residential enclave in Ciudad Cariari, Terrazas de Golf occupies a house once lived in by a single family before it opened as a hotel in January 2011. The result feels closer to a private residence run to hotel standards than a conventional business hotel, despite sitting near several convention centres and free-trade zones. Downtown San José is ten kilometres off. For anyone shuttling between meetings at the Pedregal or Wyndham Herradura centres and a quiet place to sleep, the location does the work; the golf course next door does the rest.
