Tevahine Dream
Built as a small family pension on the edge of the lagoon at Avatoru, Tevahine Dream has grown around one household's hospitality rather than any corporate design. Norbert and his family run the place themselves, and their son Kevin leads the excursions that have become part of the stay. Four bungalows, done in Polynesian style, sit open-plan with no interior partitions, each fitted with a mosquito net over the bed, a ceiling fan, a kitchenette and a private deck. The lagoon is a few steps away. Snorkelling and swimming happen straight off the property, and bicycles are available for exploring the wider motu. Breakfast is continental and served each morning. It is a compact stay. The pension sits close to the village, so the post office, pharmacy and small grocery shops are within easy reach. Airport pickup is included. The whole operation runs on a household scale, four bungalows and one family, which is precisely what regulars come back for.
