Tezh Ler Resort
Tezh Ler Resort is a renovated retreat set among the pine forests of Armenia's Lori Region, on the Dilijan-Vanadzor highway near the village of Shahumyan. The property began as a rest house and has since been rebuilt with updated interiors while keeping its original footprint of six two-storey buildings, one of which serves as the administration block. It holds 32 rooms in total, ranging from Standard and Deluxe doubles to Suite rooms with terraces, Duplex apartments and a private cottage. The cottage sleeps six across three bedrooms and three bathrooms, with room for four extra beds. Every room, regardless of category, has its own bathroom, hot and cold water, a refrigerator and television. Two halls serve regional and international dishes, and an open-air bar-café sits alongside them for drinks outdoors. Rates include a buffet breakfast and dinner. Guests can play table tennis, billiards or volleyball, swim in the open-air pool, or browse a small library that grows with new titles over time. A garden holds swings, children's lodges, a fountain and a well. Two conference halls, seating 50 and 150, put the resort to use for work as well as rest. It is a quiet, functional base rather than a spectacle, built around comfort and repeat use through every season.
