The Blackpine Hotel

Set on Plaça Coprínceps in the centre of Escaldes-Engordany, The Blackpine occupies one of the more visible corners of Andorra's spa town, close to shops, restaurants and the walk up toward the ski slopes. It holds 17 rooms and suites, finished in pine wood and built to LEED Gold and WELL standards, the first Small Luxury Hotels member in the country to carry both. Rooms start at 27 square metres. The Suite with Terrace opens onto a private outdoor space large enough for breakfast or an evening drink, at 60 square metres with a separate living area. Standard, Superior and Deluxe rooms share the same 27 square metre footprint but vary in soundproofing and finish, while the Junior Suite and Suite add separate living rooms across 45 and 51 square metres. Each room carries a Nespresso machine, minibar and designer bathroom amenities. Downstairs, a bistro restaurant serves local ingredients alongside international technique, and the hotel runs valet parking and ski storage for guests heading to the slopes. Room service runs around the clock. The building's name nods to the Pinus nigra, a pine native to the highest reaches of the Andorran Pyrenees that can live for over 500 years. Reception operates 24 hours.
