The Blake House at Poronui Lodge

Set on a promontory overlooking the Taharua River against a backdrop of spectacular North Island wilderness scenery, The Blake House at Poronui Lodge offers a tranquil retreat with two spacious guest rooms set at each end of the house. Each room has its own private sun porch and en-suite bathroom with a bath, separate shower, and underfloor heating. Additional accommodation is available in two bunkrooms each with four single bunks.

The central living space comprises two expansive lounges with huge open fireplaces, a kitchen, dining area, library, and den. Facilities at Blake House include satellite TV, high-speed internet access, and board and lawn games. Guests also have full use of the facilities at the Stables including the sauna, steam room, gymnasium, snooker room and wine cellar. The house is fully serviced together with host and private chef and a self-catering option is also available.
