The Ivi Mare

Ivi Mare is set directly on the beach at Yeroskipou, on the edge of Paphos on Cyprus's southwest coast. The hotel is for adults only. Rooms run from 27 to 33 square metres, done in blue, white and cream, and the Deluxe Sea View rooms look straight out over the Mediterranean; several Junior Suites and Superior rooms add a private jacuzzi on the balcony, for a soak with the water in view. Each room carries air conditioning, a Nespresso machine and a minibar, standard across the categories. Outside, guests have a choice of indoor and outdoor pools plus a separate jacuzzi, and a fitness room and spa cover the rest of the downtime. Two restaurants serve Mediterranean, Cypriot and international menus, and the bars run to live music some evenings. The coastline nearby holds some of the island's better-known sights, including the rock formation at Petra tou Romiou and the headland reserve to the west, both within driving distance. Staff can arrange car hire and taxis, and reception runs around the clock. It is a compact, adult-focused stay, built around the shoreline rather than away from it, with the sea a short walk from every room.
