The Josephine Boutique Hotel

Check-in is a short walk from the sand. The Josephine sits on Zenonos Kitieos, Larnaca's main commercial street, with Finikoudes beach around 50 metres away and Saint Lazaros church a few minutes further on foot. The building is recent, and the rooms follow suit: clean-lined, air-conditioned, and finished with Nespresso machines, blackout curtains, and furnished balconies rather than the florid trim of an older seafront hotel. Standard doubles start at 28 m2; the Junior Suite runs to 38 m2 and adds a spa bath and sea view. A rooftop pool sits above the street noise, with sunbeds, umbrellas, and a bar for a drink after the beach. Family rooms sleep up to four on a sofa bed alongside the main double, and rooms built for wheelchair access are also on offer. Breakfast runs as a full buffet with vegetarian and vegan options, served indoors or out. It is a short drive, about ten minutes, from Larnaca International Airport, and the central bus station and shopping streets are within walking distance. Housekeeping comes daily, and reception operates around the clock. For a stay built around the beach and the town centre rather than resort grounds, the location does most of the work.
