The Note
An understated city hotel in Vejle, wrapped by park greenery
Skip to product information
Bordered by Vejle's city park, The Note occupies a quiet corner of the town centre, close enough to the waterfront and pedestrian streets to reach both on foot. Fourteen room types run from compact Courtyard Rooms at 25 m² to Corner Suites of 40 m², several with three windows looking toward the park or the low hills locals call the Vejle mountains. Top-floor rooms sit on the fifth level, above the courtyard and treeline. Fresh plants furnish every room, part of a house rule that guests should always have something green in view. On the fifth floor, at the end of the corridor, a plant-filled lounge called Forest Bathing stays open to any guest with a room key, its chairs turned toward the park and a running water feature. Breakfast is baked in-house, from seven kinds of buns to liver pâté and rum balls made from the previous day's leftover cake. A lobby bar near reception pours wine and draught beer, and folding chairs are free to borrow for the park outside. It is a short walk to the Vejle Art Museum next door and the Jelling rune stones are a drive away. Rooms come with Chromecast TVs and organic toiletries. Dogs stay for a nightly fee and get a welcome kit on arrival.
