Palena and Temple Camp
Bankside fixed-tent camps for anglers who want more river time
Skip to product information
Palena and Temple are out camps set up for four rods at a time, each with accommodation in two fixed tents pitched on the riverbank. Every tent has its own outside bathroom, en suite, with a shower and electrical outlets. Guests head out with their own team, guides and one or two Chilean helpers for an overnight or two-night stay away from BaseCamp. Many anglers arrive wary of trading comfort for access, worried the camps will feel rough. Most leave wishing they had booked more nights there. It is a stripped-back way to fish Patagonia's rivers, closer to the water and further from the lodge.
