The Pod Boutique Capsule Hotel
Over one hundred capsules on Beach Road, steps from Kampong Gelam's old quarter

Built into Level 3 of a Beach Road building, The POD Boutique Capsule Hotel reworks the capsule format for a traveller who wants privacy without a full room. Over 100 pods and suites fill the floor, sized for one or two and grouped as mixed, male-only, or women-only, the last kept to its own dedicated floor. Each pod carries a locker with keycard access, a single or queen bed made up in 300-thread-count cotton, a reading light, and roller shades that pull down for privacy. Bathrooms sit apart from the pods but stay self-contained, each with its own toilet, sink, and rain shower. The sea itself is out of reach here; the water in this name is the strait beyond the shore road it sits on. Self-service kiosks handle check-in and check-out. Coffee and tea run all day at no charge, and a laundromat covers washing between changes of plan. Guests can walk to Haji Lane and the murals of Kampong Gelam in minutes. Bugis Street's market lies close by too, along with the Sultan Mosque and its gold domes. The Central Business District and Marina Bay sit a short ride away, keeping the location practical for both meetings and mornings at Gardens by the Bay. It works less as a destination than as a base, built for short stays and long days out.
