Las Lagunas Pools

At the base of the reception building, two acres of landscaped grounds hold twelve connected pools linked by cascading waterfalls. Eight draw straight from natural hot mineral springs; the other four are chlorinated and kept warm for guests who prefer it. Water temperatures span from 86 to 103 degrees Fahrenheit, so guests can move between pools to find a comfortable spot. Multi-level terraces offer both sun and shade for lounging. A swim-up bar serves tropical drinks with a clear line of sight to the volcano. It works as a place to soak, cool off, or simply sit with a drink in hand.
