Thundi Sea View
Beachfront guesthouse on Fulidhoo, reached by shared speed boat from the airport
Skip to product information
Fulidhoo is a small island in the Maldives, reached from the airport by a shared speed boat that takes about an hour. Thundi Sea View & Spa sits directly on its beach, built in 2017 as an extension of a guesthouse that first opened on the island in 2014. The reef lies just metres from the shore, and several rooms open straight onto the sand. The Deluxe Balcony Room and Standard Room both face the sea, one from a private balcony, the other from a porch; the Deluxe Room instead has a garden bathroom and porch set back from the water. Ground-floor guests can step from their door onto the beach. A restaurant serves Asian and European dishes, and a spa on site runs treatments from Thai and Balinese massage to a reflexology session and an after-sun soother for skin caught by the tropical light. Excursions are arranged daily and include snorkelling with nurse sharks and turtles, trips to spot manta rays or dolphins, and picnic lunches on a nearby sandbank. Fishing trips go out with a traditional line and hook, the catch cooked for lunch the next day. Quiet hours run from 10pm to 9am. It is a compact stay, and a modest one by Maldivian standards, set on an island where the boat schedule, not a jetty of overwater villas, still shapes the day.
