Set against the limestone karsts that ring Vang Vieng, Tmark Resort Vangvieng faces the Nam Song River across its own gardens and pool. The 108 rooms and suites, arranged as deluxe doubles, twins, triples and family rooms, all open onto a private balcony overlooking the water and pool below, with the karst peaks rising behind. It is a straightforward layout. Three suite grades step up in scale: the junior suite runs to 48 m2, the Tmark suite to 65 m2 with its own kitchenette, and the Royal Suite to 97 m2, adding a living and dining room with the same river-and-mountain outlook. Rooms carry a bathtub, wardrobe, safe and a 43-inch television, along with two bottles of water restocked daily and a writing desk for anyone working between excursions. Dio Spa runs massage treatments for guests returning from the river or the caves outside town, and a fitness room and restaurant round out the on-site amenities. A 188 m2 hall, built for up to 150 in theatre style, handles meetings and events on the same grounds. You can watch the light shift across the karst faces from the balcony as the day cools. The resort works as a fixed base for exploring Vang Vieng's caves, river and limestone country, with a daily shuttle running guests into town.
