Tortuga Village
Eight teak bungalows on El Salvador's coast, twenty-five minutes from the airport
Skip to product information
Set directly on a stretch of sand beach at Costa del Sol, Tortuga Village is arranged around two swimming pools rather than a single central block. Eight bungalows, built from organic teak, face the sea and ring the pool area; each carries wifi, air conditioning and a private bathroom. It is a small property. Bungalow layouts vary: some sleep two on twin beds, others hold up to five across a queen and two doubles, and a two-room suite looks toward the trees rather than the water and sleeps up to six. Rooms sit on an upper level, reached by stairs, so there is no wheelchair access. Both pools were fully renovated in January 2025. Beyond the bungalows, the estuary at Jaltepeque is close enough for a boat trip through its mangroves, a route the hotel arranges directly. The international airport is around twenty-five minutes away by road, useful for a short coastal break rather than a long transfer. Check-in runs from 3pm, check-out from 1pm, and the gate is closed after 7:30pm for security, with guests asked to check in at the entrance if arriving later.
