Bush & Village Walk

This is a casual walk from Travessia Beach Lodge through coastal forest into the neighbouring village, passing cassava plots and old baobab trees on the way. The route takes in the local pre-primary school, and depending on what villagers are doing that day, guests might get a chance to sample local food or Sura, a traditional palm wine. Length varies with fitness and interest, running from one hour up to three. There is no charge for the walk, though guests can leave a donation to the lodge's Village Fund, which supports school and infrastructure projects in the community.
