Tufenkian Old Dilijan Complex is a small hotel built into Dilijan's reconstructed old quarter, on Sharambeyan Street. The buildings recreate the town's late 19th-century character, with stone and timber facades lining a street laid out like the original. It is a compact stay. The property holds 18 rooms across several categories, from smaller 17 m² rooms to a 106 m² Ananov Suite, each furnished with wooden pieces and handmade woollen bedspreads under low, subdued lighting. Haykanoush Restaurant occupies a separate building on the same street, serving Western-Armenian dishes and local specialities apart from the guest rooms. You can walk from the hotel directly into workshops and studios where local craftspeople keep Dilijan's woodworking and textile traditions running. The complex functions as a base for exploring this district, itself a project of restoration rather than a museum piece kept behind glass. Rooms come with a kettle, safe, television, and heating, and the hotel keeps board games for evenings, sometimes set up on the restaurant's third floor. Parking is available when space allows, and the front desk offers luggage storage and concierge help for trips further into Tavush province.
