TUI BLUE Palm Beach Palace
Adults-only, Moorish-style 5-star hotel on Djerba's longest sand beach
Djerba's east coast is where TUI BLUE Palm Beach Palace stands, set on the island's longest stretch of sand, close to Houmt Souk. The hotel is built in Moorish style, with arches and courtyards that nod to Tunisia's Maghreb architecture, and it takes guests aged 16 and over only. Rooms and bungalows number 261 in total, spread across a three-storey main building and garden annexes, with marble floors in the suites and tiled floors elsewhere. Duo rooms run from 35 to 38 square metres, each with a balcony or terrace facing the garden or the sea. The Junior Suite adds a whirlpool and 85 square metres of space, while the Suite with Sea View stretches to 120 square metres across two bedrooms. Three pools serve different moods: a 44-metre main pool, a narrower relax pool, and an indoor pool heated through winter. The spa runs a hammam, sauna, steam bath and nine treatment rooms, two set aside for couples. Five restaurants and three bars cover Tunisian, Italian and Asian menus, most under an all-inclusive plan. Guests can borrow a Bluetooth speaker from reception for the room. It is a quiet, adult-focused base, built around the beach and the North African design that gives the hotel its character.
