Up Hotel Budapest
Up Hotel Budapest is a modern hotel on the corner of Csengery utca and Hunyadi tér, in Budapest's sixth district. The market at Hunyadi square runs alongside it, and Andrássy út is close by. It is a smart-technology stay: rooms come fitted with flat-screen TVs, coffee machines, and free Wi-Fi, and the building itself once housed a printing works before its 2022 reopening as a hotel. Rooms are arranged across seven types, from compact Smart doubles at 18 to 23 square metres up to the Corner Suite, which runs to 44 square metres plus its own terrace and jacuzzi. Top-floor Terrace Superior rooms add a private balcony of seven to ten square metres, with views over the square below. Ground level holds Posner Bistro, named for the printer whose works once stood here, serving Hungarian dishes alongside international technique. The adjoining Posner Bar pours Hungarian spirits and gin among them. A sauna and fitness room sit downstairs for guests who want to counter the city on foot. Three meeting rooms and a glass-roofed function space called the Cloud Room handle groups up to eighty. The Danube is a walk of about twenty-five minutes. Check-in guests find four bottles of mineral water waiting on arrival.
