Vahine Island Private Resort

Set on a private motu off Tahaa, Vahine Private Island faces a lagoon that opens toward Bora Bora, Huahine and Raiatea. The resort holds nine bungalows and one royal villa, arranged along the beach or raised on stilts above the water. Coconut palms run behind the shoreline, and each room type takes its own line to the lagoon.

The Beach Bungalow covers 50 m² beneath a high pandanus roof, its woodwork paired with woven bamboo, and steps down through a two-tier terrace to direct lagoon access. The Overwater Bungalows, at 45 m², stand on stilts with a private terrace and outdoor shower, looking across the water to Bora Bora and Tahaa. Beach Suites run from 70 to 75 m² and add a second terrace facing the coconut grove, with a hammock strung between the two. You can watch the sunset from any of them, lagoon on one side, palms on the other.

Ari'i Vahine, the private royal villa, occupies its own small motu, linked to the island by a bridge. It holds two master suites and four further suites across 14 guests' capacity, built from wood, pandanus roofing, shell and pearl detailing. Its pool runs level into the living area, and the dining room, bar and lounge share one open interior. Restaurant service covers local and Western dishes on site.
