Set on a working property near Villa Lago Rivadavia, at the edge of Los Alerces National Park's northern sector, the hotel sits within 25km of seven lakes, four rivers and a scatter of mountain streams. One of them, the Pichun, runs through the farm itself. The building takes its shape from old stables once used on the family's land in Cholila, and three generations of that family still run the place. Five guest rooms hold one to three people each, carpeted throughout, with private bathrooms and doors onto a shared gallery facing the garden. A separate cabin sleeps four to seven, with two ground-floor bedrooms, a loft for children, its own kitchen, a living-dining area and a porch. Fishing programmes cover the Arrayanes, Rivadavia and Carrileufu rivers and Lago Verde, with rainbow, brook and brown trout and landlocked salmon. It is a small, family-run stay. Wifi runs on satellite internet, steady even this far from town.
