Valley Resort Wadi Rum
Arriving through the Wadi Rum Protected Area, guests reach Valley Resort along a track flanked by sandstone mountains. It is a compact camp built for slow days and clear nights. Rooms are split across four categories: Dune and Martain rooms at 40 m² with 39 m² terraces, and the two-bedroom Valley Suite, which runs to 104 m² inside with an 82 m² terrace and a king bedroom alongside a second room with two queen beds. Each has air conditioning, a mini bar and a private terrace facing the dunes, a detail that matters once the sun drops and the sand cools fast. Meals run through the Acacia Restaurant, which serves a breakfast and dinner buffet mixing Jordanian dishes with international standards, and the poolside Milkyway Café for drinks and light lunches. The outdoor pool operates from morning to sunset. In the evening, the Bedouin sitting area draws guests around an open fire, with sweeping views back toward the mountains. You can hear little beyond wind and conversation once the fire burns low. A small gym sits open to the desert air, and a massage chair waits in the lobby for anyone who has spent the day on foot. Wi-Fi runs free through the property, and an airport transfer can be arranged for a fee. Check-in runs from 3pm.
