Ventana Bay Resort

El Sargento holds this resort on a wide stretch of private sand, in the bay of Los Planes on Baja California Sur's Sea of Cortez side, with Cerralvo Island set offshore. The nearby La Ventana coast draws kiteboarders and wing foilers, and the resort works as a quiet base for both water time and the trail network that runs along the coastal ridges behind it. Eleven room types range from simple garden-view rooms to the Ocean View Villa Casa Jazmin, which has a full kitchen, living and dining space, and its own laundry room. The Palapa Sky Suite sits in a raised, quiet corner of the property under a traditional palapa roof, with a king bed, a full kitchen, and a view over the water to the island. Clubhouse rooms and bungalows all carry air conditioning, en-suite bathrooms, and coffee machines. Breakfast and lunch come included, served in an open-air clubhouse above the bay.
