Wood-burning fireplaces sit behind carved wooden portals in the largest apartments, and every unit opens onto its own balcony or terrace. Villa Alvīne is a 23-apartment building set in central Jurmala, a short walk from Jomas Street and the Dzintari concert hall. Apartments run from one to two bedrooms across roughly 70 to 120 square metres, each with a full kitchen fitted with Bosch appliances, a sitting room, and one or two bathrooms with a bath or shower. The beach is 200 metres away. Riga's shoreline of sand dunes and old pine trees is close enough to smell the sea air from the terrace. Grand and Superior two-bedroom apartments give each bedroom its own bathroom, useful for two families sharing. The Luxury one-bedroom units suit couples, with the same kitchen fit-out scaled down for two. Reception operates from the ground floor, and parking is available on site, above or below ground, for one car per apartment on request. Riga airport is a 15-minute drive; central Riga is 20 minutes by car. Rooms come with air conditioning, Wi-Fi, cable television, and a safe, and housekeeping changes linen and towels through the stay. Pets are welcome, and the building takes both short lets by the day and longer stays by the month or year.
