Villa Boutanga
A hillside stay built around craft, culture and quiet learning in Cameroon
Villa Boutanga is a stay built into the Boutanga hill above Bangoulap, in Cameroon's western Grassland region. The town of Bangangté lies seven kilometres off, close enough for errands, far enough that the view stays open across green farmland below. The hotel counts 14 rooms and suites in total: ten standard rooms, two junior suites and two senior suites, each sized to hold two to four guests. A restaurant occupies the ground floor, with a bar and a wide terrace facing the hillside. It is a compact stay. Rooms are simply described as comfortable rather than dressed up, and the setting does the work instead. Guests can walk the grounds on guided or self-guided routes, then move on to cultural tours, sightseeing and historical visits in the wider area. The hotel sits at the quiet edge of that activity, close to it but separate from it. Check-in details and further practicalities are handled directly with the property.
