Opened as the second hotel within the family-owned Diplomat Collection, alongside Hotel Diplomat and Villa Dahlia, Villa Dagmar sits on Nybrogatan in Östermalm, next to Östermalms saluhall. It holds 70 individually designed rooms and suites, each fitted with a smart TV, a Marshall speaker and a Nespresso machine. The restaurant serves Mediterranean-inspired food from an open kitchen, with dishes built on seasonal ingredients and a wine list chosen by the house sommelier. Trädgårdsbaren, the courtyard bar, sits under a glass roof and runs breakfast through to late drinks; DJs play there on weekend nights. Dagges Vinbar, tucked behind it, pours wines from the hotel's own cellar alongside aperitivo and charcuterie. It is a compact stay by design. Dagmar Spirit & Retreat, run with Mia Hjalmarsson, offers facials, massage and sound healing, plus a fitness centre linked to Vigour Fitness for personal training. Guests must be 16 or older to use the spa, with those from 12 admitted alongside an adult. A boutique from designer Susan Szatmáry sits off the courtyard, known for handbags and a bag rental scheme run exclusively for hotel guests. Meeting rooms range from Bergsten, seating 20, to Karamellfabriken, which splits in two and holds up to 50.
