Villa del Mar

Shaded by palms and ringed by two pools, Villa del Mar sits low across three four-storey buildings on Providenciales, a short walk from Grace Bay Beach. Travertine floors and stainless kitchens furnish each suite, and every layout, from studio to three-bedroom, opens onto a private balcony facing the pool and gardens. Studios run 679 sq ft with a 175 sq ft balcony; one-bedroom suites reach up to 1,514 sq ft in the penthouse category. Family suites sleep up to eight. Each unit carries a full kitchen or kitchenette, a washer and dryer, and air conditioning. A continental breakfast is laid out poolside each morning, and beach staff set up loungers, umbrellas and cold water on the sand across the street. The Tiki Bar anchors the pool deck with a barbecue grill alongside it for evenings spent in rather than out. You can walk to Coral Gardens for snorkelling in about twenty minutes along the beach, or reach Grace Bay's shops and restaurants on foot within ten. It is a compact stay, just 42 suites, and the grounds keep a quieter, more residential feel than the larger beachfront resorts nearby. Concierge staff handle transport, dinner reservations and excursion bookings for guests heading further afield, to the surrounding cays or the island's golf course.
