Villa Nazareth Hotel

Villa Nazareth is a boutique hotel set in the old city of Nazareth, around the corner from Mary's Well and the Greek Orthodox Annunciation Church. The building is sixty years old and has been newly renovated, its stone walls and patio kept intact while the rooms inside were brought up to a modern standard. Eighteen rooms fill the property, doubles and triples, each around 20 square metres with a private bathroom, air conditioning, cable television and free Wi-Fi. It is a short stay from the centre. The reception and hallway keep a warm, lived-in feel rather than a corporate one, and the terrace, with its stone walls, functions as an informal common room before and after breakfast. Breakfast is a daily buffet, with eggs cooked to order, sausages, cold cuts, jams and home-baked bread served in a separate dining room. Guests can walk to the Basilica of the Annunciation, the Church of St Joseph and the Nazareth market, all within a short distance of the front door. The hotel can also arrange a taxi transfer from Ben Gurion Airport, roughly 112 kilometres away. Staff are on hand at the front desk for local information and onward travel through the Galilee.
