Vitor's Village

Guests arrive in Ferragudo, a fishing village on Portugal's Algarve coast, and climb to Vitors Village on a rise above the Arade River. The aparthotel sits about 2 km from Angrinha Beach, with Praia Grande and Praia do Molhe a short drive further on. A free shuttle bus runs to the surrounding beaches and into the village centre, so a car is optional. Rooms range from a simple double to two-bedroom apartments sleeping up to four adults and two children, most with a kitchenette, sofa bed and furnished balcony. The Deluxe Suite goes further: a king bed, a sitting room, and a private balcony with a jacuzzi, its view opening over the village roofs to the river and the sea beyond. Three pools sit in the grounds, one for adults seeking quiet, another with a splash pool for children. The Purple Restaurant serves Portuguese and international dishes from breakfast through dinner, with a terrace over the pool, plus a snack bar and small on-site market for basics. There is a gym, a self-service laundry, and a reading area with a shared computer off the lobby. Check-in runs from 4pm. Portimão and its harbour lie a short transfer away, with golf courses at Gramacho and Vale de Pinta within easy reach for a day out.
