Waidroka Bay Resort

Arriving by road from Nadi or Suva, guests turn off the Queens Highway at Dogo Road and follow roughly 4 km of unsealed track through rainforest to the shoreline. The resort caps at 30 guests across three room types: Panoramic Ocean-View Rooms, Deluxe Ocean Front Bures and Superior Deluxe Ocean Front Bures, each with air conditioning, a patio and a mini-fridge. A fleet of five boats runs divers and surfers out to nearby breaks and reef sites, including the long left-hander at Frigates Passage and the shark dive in Beqa Lagoon. The PADI centre offers courses from beginner to Rescue Diver, alongside a training pool and full rental gear. Surf trips are limited by boat capacity, and dive groups cap at 12 per boat. Evenings centre on a three-course dinner, sometimes served as a lovo, food cooked under hot coals and wrapped in banana leaf. A yoga studio and pool deck face the ocean for those staying out of the water. Wi-Fi is confined to the main building. Airport transfers from Nadi or Suva can be arranged directly through the resort.
