Waterfall Rafting Center Lodging

The water is the point here. Cabins and chalets stand a few steps from the Piva River, timber-built and plain-fronted, with terraces that look straight onto the current and the forest behind it. Waterfall Rafting Center works as a basecamp rather than a hotel: a cluster of riverside cabins, family-sized chalets, seven simple rooms in the main building, and open ground for tents, vans and RVs. It has been run by one family since 2003. Rafting is the core activity, launched from here onto the Tara River Canyon, 18 km of white water through the deepest canyon in Europe, with licensed guides and gear included. Canyoning trips head into Nevidio and Grabovica, where waterfalls drop into rock pools reached by rope and rappel. Ziplines and kayaks work Piva Lake nearby, and e-bike and hiking routes run up into Durmitor National Park. Rooms are unheated and modest by design — two single beds, shared bathrooms, a terrace outside — built for guests who spend the day on the water and want a clean, dry place to land at night. The on-site restaurant serves homemade Montenegrin meals daily. You can hear the river from the cabins after dark, and little else.
