Cottage Suite

One of sixteen Cottage Suites set above the surf of Palliser Bay, each with its own ocean view. The seventy-square-metre room, designed by Virginia Fischer, holds a super king-sized bed or two twins, deep sofas, and an open gas fireplace. Floors are heated marble in the bathroom and warmed underfoot throughout, with New Zealand wool carpets softening the rest. A minibar, heated towel rails, and homemade cookies round out the room. Suites interconnect for families or groups, and it is a short walk from the main lodge, sheep grazing the pastures outside.
